NORWAY
This is my first edited photo using Adobe Photoshop. I learned techniques such as: cropping and straightening; enhancing lighting and color by adjusting the hue, saturation and brightness; removing unwanted content via a content-aware spot healing brush and patch tool; sharpening; and saving the image under different file types such as jpeg and psd.

WILD WEST
My second photoshop involved layering the cow foreground with a separate sky image as the background. Then I added in shapes, such as the sun, and I blended it with the background using the brush tool. Lastly, I learned how to include text and logo design, which can be helpful tool to know for business or self-promoting photos I may use in the future.

LIGHTHOUSE
To create the photoshopped image, I brightened the lighthouse by using hue, brightness, and saturation edits. Then I used the quick selection tool to single out the lighthouse and create a black and white background. In order to get rid of some of the crack on the base of the lighthouse, I used the spot healing brush tool while having content aware settings on. From just a few simple edits, I was able to learn how to create focus on a part of an image by contrasting the background from the foreground by changing up the colors adding a black and white background.

QUIDDITCH
This is my personal photoshop where I made myself riding a broomstick on a Quiddtich field at Hogwarts. This idea is based on the book and movie series, Harry Potter. I combined my photoshop skills and created four layers: the sky as the background, Hogwarts, myself, and the broomstick. I used the quick selection tool to specifically crop out Hogwarts in order to put a brighter sky in the background. The quick selection tool was also used to put myself in front of Hogwarts, and the broom stick beneath me. The brush tool was also used to bring back the black foreground when trying to make me look like I am on the broomstick. Although it is nowhere near perfect, I had this idea in my head for a while and I am happy to see that I was able to pull together my skills to make this final product!
